GTA 6: Multitude of News Uncovered via Ex-RockStar Employee on LinkedIn

Grand Theft Auto VI is in the works thanks to Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive, but we still know very little about the game. Now it seems that information available on GTA 6 has in fact been released by an ex-employee of RockStar, and it is often the fans who find them on the web. While waiting to hear more from Rockstar which is waiting for the right moment to announce GTA 6 properly, a multitude of news about the development of the title continues to circulate on the web.

According to reports, in a shared post on Reddit, the LinkedIn page of former employee of Rockstar Games, Sayan Saha, has revealed some details about his work for GTA 6 or Grand Theft Auto VI. It’s worth mentioning that GTA VI’s Roman numeral was removed from his profile, but not before fans screened it indelibly, as can be seen in this link.

Saha stated on his profile that he has been working on the next “GTA VI, GTA Trilogy Remaster, and GTA V next-gen update.”

The developer then continued by stating the following: “Completed 500+ in-game 2D assets for GTA VI, including 25+ unique brands to GTA 6 – identity design with merchandising, Interior Prop Labels – Labels on items like – Fire Extinguisher, Chainsaw, Electric Board, Boat motor, Car engine – Items that appear in the interior areas, etc.”

These findings have given fans hope that GTA 6 will continue the work to provide smoother transitions between cutscenes and gameplay, with the added bonus of having higher graphical fidelity.

In other news, it is reported that the production budget for GTA 6 would exceed one billion dollars, or even 2 billion according to some estimates. For comparison, Red Dead Redemption, also developed by Rockstar, was considered the most expensive game in history so far, with a budget of $947 million in 2018.

While it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to release between 2024 and 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
